To load a tape cartridge, refer to the following diagram, and perform the following
steps:
1. Make sure that the tape drive is turned on.
2. Make sure that the write-protection switch on the tape cartridge is properly set.
3. Grasp the tape cartridge so that the write-protect switch faces you.
4. Slide the tape cartridge into the tape load compartment.

Unloading tape cartridges

To unload a tape cartridge, perform the following steps.
1. Make sure that the 80/160 GB VS160 Tape Drive is turned on.

To clean the tape drive:
