Note: IBM thermal ribbons are 2,051 feet / 625
meters long with an estimated average annual
usage of 6 to 10 boxes per printer. Thermal print
heads have an estimated average life of about
2 years with a usage of (4) ribbons per month.
The print head should be cleaned every time the
ribbon or media is changed with the cleaner pens.
Cleaner pens are good for up to 8 cleanings.
