Power LED
Blink at 10-
second intervals
If both LEDs are off, then the PC Card is not turned on and it cannot receive or transmit
data. This can be because:
• There is no device driver installed
• The card and device drivers are mismatched, preventing the device driver from
loading
• There is a device conflict, preventing the device drivers from loading
If both LEDs are off, take the following actions:
• Verify if a device driver has been installed. If not, install the device driver.
• Verify the device settings of the PC Card to determine the occurrence of a conflict
with another device. If there is a conflict, change the settings of the PC Card or the
conflicting device.
• Verify the versions of the device driver and the PC Card software.
• Consult the IBM High-Rate Wireless LAN Web site at
http://www.ibm.com/pc
to see if software upgrades are available.
