7.14 End of operation

Before you switch off the device, please make sure that no CD remains in the CD-player and no cassette in
the cassette-deck.
Also make sure that the CD-tray is completely closed before you switch off. If this is not the case, switch the
device on again and close the tray with the Open/Close-button.

8. PROBLEM CART

Should you have further problems, please refer to the chart below.
Have the connections correctly been carried out?
Is your amplifier and your mixer properly adjusted?
Have you kept to all instructions given in this manual?

8.1 CD-player, cassette deck

SYMPTOMS
Device does not react when swit-
ching on.
Player does not start operation
No sound
Does not read properly.
Pop noise

8.2 Wireless receiver and microphone

PROBLEM:
No sound; receiver RF-
LED off.
No receiver sound;
receiver RF-LED on.
Received signal is noisy
or contains extraneous
sounds with transmitter
on.
Noise from receiver with
transmitter off.
Momentary loss of sound
as transmitter is moved
around performing area.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
Connection to mains disrupted.
No power or no sound.
CD is badly positioned or dirty
Check connections
The

Mixer or amplifier connections
inapropriate
Make sure POWER switches on transmitter and receiver are on.
Check transmitter Power-LED to ensure that battery is providing power.
Replace battery if necessary.
Make sure that the receiver is in the line of sight of the transmitter. If
necessary, reduce the distance between transmitter and receiver.
Turn up the receiver audio output Mic 1 control.
Talk into the microphone.
Check transmitter Battery-LED to ensure that battery is providing power.
Remove local sources of RF interference, such as lighting equipment .
Two transmitters may be operating on the same frequency. Locate and turn
one off.
Signal may be too weak. If possible, move receiver closer to the transmitter.
Remove local sources of RF interference, such as lighting equipment.
Reposition the receiver.
Reposition receiver and perform another test and observe the RF-LED. If
audio drop-outs persist, mark these dead spots in the performing area and avoid
them during the performance.
