Please refer to the explanations under Operating Determinations.
Unscrew the the housing rear from the housing.
If replacing the batteries, remove the old battery from the battery compartment.
Only replace by the same type or similar types recommended by the manufacturer.
Remove empty batteries in accordance with the instructions of the manufacturer.
Insert the battery (1 standard 9 V battery) and make sure that the poles are correct.
Screw the the housing rear on the housing.
In order to have a long battery life, you should only use alcaline batteries.
With the ON/OFF-switch, you can switch the microphone on and off. When switching the device on, the
Power-LED lights up. In this case, the power supply is sufficient.
When the battery is getting weaker, the Battery-LED is illuminated. In this case, the battery has to be
replaced.
If the Power-LED does not light up when switching on, there is either no battery inserted or the poles are
wrong.
If the microphone is not used, switch it off via the slide switch. If the device will not be used for a longer
period of time, remove the battery in order to avoid battery leakage.

5.2 System-test

Make sure that the power switch is set to "OFF". Before you connect the devices, all units have to be
switched off and all level-controls are set to "0".

batteries are charged.
With the Power-switch, you can switch the PA-system on and off. When switching the device on, the Power-
LED is illuminated.
If microphone signals are being received, the RF-LED is illuminated.
For optimum receiving please follow these instructions:
Maintain a line-of-sight between the transmitter and receiver antennas, if possible. Avoid placing
transmitter and receiver where metal or other dense materials may be present.
Avoid placing the receiver near computers or other RF generating equipment.
Adjust the signal level via the Mic 1-control.
IMPORTANT: Every wireless microphone installation is a unique situation, and can present a variety of
problems. Never attempt a live performance without first conducting a test of the system in the performing
area. If major changes (additional wireless systems or intercoms, relocation of scenery, etc.) have been
made since the last test, check the wireless system again - as close to performance time as possible.
Please note: the PA-system can only be used off mains after the batteries have been charged for 7-10 h.
Danger of explosion when battery is replaced improperly.
