Clock and Alarm

Setting the date and time

1. On the home screen, press Start > All Programs > More > Settings > Clock & Alarm > Date and Time.
• Time Zone: Select your time zone.
• Date: Edit the month, day, or year.
• Time: Edit the hour, minute, and second.

Connections

Wireless Manager

You can turn the power off to all your wireless connections in one go. This is a quick way to preserve battery
power or to prepare your Xda Venn for a flight.
1. On the home screen, press Start > All Programs > More > Settings > Connections.
2. Press Wireless Manager.
Then press the button for your chosen wireless connection type (such as Bluetooth® or Phone) to turn it off
or on. If it is already turned off, the button is a lighter colour and displays an icon marked with an X.

Creating a Dial-Up connection

Every network connection is different. You should gather all the relevant information or network settings
you need before starting this process.
1. On the home screen, press Start > All Programs > More > Settings > Connections.
2. Press Dial-up.
3. Press Menu > Add. Enter the following information:
• Description: Enter a name for the connection.
• Connects to: Select the network.
• Phone number: Enter the phone number to be used to dial the network.
• User name: Enter your network user name, if required.
• Password: Enter your password, if required.
• Domain: Enter the domain name, if required.
4. Press Done.
