OPENING AND CLOSING HOOD
To open, tip seat forward and pull up on the
back of the hood. To close, put hood down
and tip seat back (figure 10).

Removing the Mulching Baffles
1. Remove mower deck (see MOWER
DECK REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
on page 16).
2. Place the mower deck on a flat, stable
surface to expose the underside of the
deck.
3. Remove right and left hand mulch baffles
from mower deck (figure 11).

NOTE: Save right and left hand mulching
baffles and mounting hardware for
re-installing the mulching kit.
4. Install mower deck (see MOWER DECK

page 16).
