Removing Drawer with 16" Drawer Slide from Spring Slide
Step 1) To pull out a Drawer (7) after the Spring Slide has locked it in place, lift the Spring with a
screwdriver while at the same time pulling out on the drawer. Repeat for both sides of the
Drawer-see Figure 4 below.
Side Panel, Center Support and Rail Assembly
Note that the right hand Slide Panel (6) has special oblong holes in it for assembly to the top of
the Right Hand Side Panel (9). The double set of holes on the right hand Slide Panel (6) faces
toward the front of the Metal Work Station.
You may use a Carpenter's Square to square up the sides and Rails before tightening the Hex
Nuts (17). Finger tighten all Hex Nuts until the Metal Work Station is completely assembled.
Once completely assembled, fully tighten all hardware.
Step 1) With the Side Panel (9) oriented so that the lips are on the sides, attach the two Bottom Rails
(11) Make certain that the side of the Bottom Rail with the six (6) holes faces downward-see
Figure 5 on page 6. Insert the Bolt (17) from the outside of the Side Panel (9) through the
Bottom Rail (11). Slide on Lock Washer (17) and thread on Hex Nut (17). Repeat for the two (2)
Bottom Rails on opposite side of the Side Panel (9).
Step 2) Attach the Center Supports (10) to the Bottom Rails with 2 Bolts, Lock Washers and Nuts (17) -
see Figure 6.
Step 3) With the Center Support (10) in place, insert the Slide Panel (6) down inside the rail of the
Center Support (10) so that both sets of Drawer Slides face each other-see Figure 7.
Step 4) Slide the Slide Panel (6) down inside the rail of the Side Panel (9) making certain that the
Drawer Slides face inward. Attach the Slide Panel (6) to the Side Panel (9) using four 1/4"
Bolts, Lock Washers and Hex Nuts (17).
