  • Page 3 Brought to You by Augusta Flint Use the right Vise for the job. There are certain applications for which this Vise was designed. Do not modify this Vise and do not use this Vise for a purpose for which it was not intended.
  • Page 4 Brought to You by Augusta Flint To install the Handle (10) first locate it and slide it onto the Screw (8) as in Figure 2. Insert Lock Screw (6) to secure it in place. Lock Screw (6) Figure 2 Handle (10) Lead Screw (8) To open the Plain Jaw (1), turn the Handle (10) counterclockwise until the jaws are at the desired width.
  • Page 5 Brought to You by Augusta Flint Maintenance Remove dirt and debris from the vise using a clean, soft cloth. Do not use flammable, corrosive or abrasive solvents to clean the vise. BEFORE EACH USE, inspect the general condition of the Machine Vise. Check for loose connections, misalignment or binding of moving parts, cracked, torn, or broken parts, and any other condition that may affect its safe operation.
