setting up your remote control

Follow these simple steps to program your remote for your VCR,TV,and cable box.

Before you start

Locate the [SETUP] button, which is at the very bottom of the
remote (see illustration at right).
Manually turn on your VCR,TV, and cable box.
After you find the correct code for each device, write the code on the supplied sticker.

Press the [VCR POWER] button,then the [SETUP] button on the remote.

Enter the 3-digit VCR code for your brand of VCR listed in the "VCR codes" chart on the
other side of this manual by pressing the appropriate buttons on the numeric key pad.
Press the [SETUP] button again to save the code. The red indicator light at the upper

right-hand corner of your remote will flash 3 times if these steps were followed correctly.
