Follow the steps outlined in this section if you've been unable to determine the
VOL
correct code for your TV. This method "hunts" through all possible codes in the
remote until it finds the code for your remote-controlled TV.

1. Manually turn ON your TV set.
2. Point the remote control at the TV and press the following sequence of

3. Press [MENU], [TV POWER], [FAV], and [TV POWER] to check the next
4. Repeat pressing [FAV], followed by [TV POWER], until the TV turns OFF.
Make sure your TV is on. Press the [MENU] button, then
the [TV POWER] button.
Enter the three-digit code for your television from the
"television codes" chart on the back of this sheet.
At this point you have two options depending on whether
you want volume to be controlled through your cable box
or through your TV:
option 1: If you want volume to be controlled through
your cable box, press [POWER].
option 2: If you want volume to be controlled through
your TV, press [TV POWER].
Press the [TV POWER] button. If your TV turns on and
test
off, you're all done. If your TV doesn't turn on and off,
your
perform steps 1 through 3 again with the next available
code for your TV brand. If none of the codes listed for
your TV work, try the "check all codes" method below.
