2.8x to 24.8x on 24" monitor
3.2x to 27.7x on 22" monitor
All Steps are optical zoom.
Recommended option for best image quality.
ZOOM RANGE 2
2.8x to 57.8x on 24" monitor
3.2x to 64.7x on 22" monitor
Steps 1-15 uses optical zoom. Step 16 uses digital zoom.
ZOOM RANGE 3
2.8x to 57.8x on 24" monitor
3.2x to 64.7x on 22" monitor
Note this range uses a mix of optical and digital zoom.

2.8x to 41.3 on 24" monitor
3.2x to 46.2x on 22" monitor
Note this range uses a mix of optical and digital zoom.
*Zoom range for 24" monitor is based on a 16:9 aspect ratio

22 System Configuration Menu
FEATURES MENU
To enter the Merlin HD Features Menu,
Turn the Merlin HD ON,
Rotate the Size dial to Level 4 then hit Mode once,
Rotate the Size dial to Level 3 then hit Mode once,
Rotate the Size dial to Level 2 then hit Mode once,
Rotate the Size dial to Level 1 then hit Mode once.
The Merlin HD will display "Features Menu".
Press the Mode button once to select a menu item or to turn
a setting ON or OFF.
Languages
The Merlin HD can be set to 12 different languages.
English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Japanese,
Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish, Polish, and Dutch.
Product Information
The PRODUCT INFORMATION menu item, when selected,
will display the unit configuration and the unit Serial Number.
