Installing Vent Pipe
A. Assembly of Vent Sections
This B-Vent appliance requires 6 inch B-vent double-wall
pipe. Follow the pipe manufacturer's installation guidelines
when installing the unit. This will ensure proper operation
and prevent safety hazards.

• Assemble pipe sections per B-vent
manufacturer's instructions.
• Use support tabs for screws.
• Screws must not exceed one inch long and
must not penetrate inner lining.
• Pipe may separate if not properly joined.

Attaching Vent to Firebox
Attach the fi rst B-Vent component to the fl ue outlet collar
using 3 self-tapping screws. See Figure 8.1.

Securing Vent Sections
Secure vent sections with vent supports following B-vent
manufacturer's instructions.
WARNING
Fire Risk.
Explosion Risk.
Combustion Fume Risk.
Use vent run supports per vent manufactur-
er's installation instructions.
Connect vent sections per vent manufactur-
er's installation instructions.
• Maintain all clearances to combustibles.
• Maintain specifi ed slope (if required).
Improper support may allow vent to sag or
separate.
