12. Camera

Taking Pictures

Taking pictures with your phone's built-in camera is as simple
as choosing a subject, pointing the lens, and pressing a key.
You can activate the phone's camera mode whether the
phone is open or closed.
To take a picture with the phone open:
1. Press and hold
camera mode. (Additional camera options are available
through the camera mode options menu. See "Camera
Mode Options" on page 116.)
Tip: To activate camera mode, you can also select
2. Using the phone's main screen as a viewfinder, aim the
camera lens at your subject.
3. Press

key) until the shutter sounds. (The picture will automatically
be saved in the folder you have selected. (See "Selecting
Storage Area" on page 127.)
To return to camera mode to take another picture,

Options
Take New Picture to return to camera mode to take
another picture.
Send Media to send your picture. (See page 128.)
Print to print your picture. You can choose whether to
use a PictBridge-enabled printer (see page 133), or
use a Bluetooth-enabled printer (see page 149).
Post to Services to access available services. Select
Update to display the latest services.
