Power window switches
Ignition switch must be in ON
position.
Front windows controlled from
the driver's armrest; passenger
door has a separate switch.
Tip: Power windows will
function for 40 seconds with
key off or in ACC position or
until a door is opened.

system will not operate.
Pair a phone
1. Without Navigation: Press and
release (short press) (1), after
beep, say "setup."
With Navigation: Press and
release (short press) (1), after
beep, say "telephone," after
system prompt and beep, say

Auto-opening/closing
power window switches
To fully open/close automatically,

press/pull switch (1) completely
down/up.
To stop power window partway,
pull/press switch opposite
1
direction, then release.
Tip: Windows can be opened
or closed using remote keyless
entry transmitter, advanced
keyless entry system or door
lock key, see Getting Started
and Locks.
Power window lockout switch
Press button (2) down until it
clicks, only driver's window
operates; press again and passenger
windows function again.
"setup" or press and hold (1)
for 1 second, after system
prompt and beep, say "setup."
2. System prompts you with available
options; say "pairing options."
3. After prompts, say "pair a phone."
4. System will request a 4-digit
PIN of your choice (record PIN
number), slowly say your
4-digit PIN and confirm.
5. After prompt, follow phone
manufacturer's instructions to
search for Bluetooth device.
6. Once device is found, select
"Mazda," enter your selected
4-digit PIN on phone's numeric
keypad when requested.
7. System prompts you to name
the phone.
8. System will ask for a phone
priority number between
1-7, 1 being highest.
9. When done, system will indicate
"pairing complete."
Power window
initialization procedure
If battery is disconnected or power
window fuse is replaced, the auto
open/close and anti-pinch features
will not function until initialization
is complete.
Initialization procedure:
1. Turn ignition switch to "ON"
position.
2. Make sure power window
lockout switch on driver's
door is not depressed.
3. Press power window switch
down and fully open window.
4. Pull switch up and fully close
window, continue holding
switch up for about 2 seconds
after window is fully closed.
5. Repeat Steps 3 and 4 for
each front window.
6. Confirm power window
switch operation.
Dialing a phone number
Without Navigation:
Press and release (short press)
(1), after beep, say "dial."
With Navigation: Press and
release (short press) (1), after beep,
say "telephone," slowly say phone
number after the prompt, system
verifies number is correct; then
connects your call or press and
hold (1) for 1 second, after system
prompt and beep, say "dial."
Slowly say phone number after the
prompt, system verifies number is
correct; then connects your call.
Receiving a call
System will say "Incoming call, press
the phone button to answer," press
and release (short press) (1) to accept
call, (long press) to reject a call.
Tip: To end a call, press and hold
(1) for a few seconds or more.
