Section 3 PCI/PnP Setup

Choose PCI/PnP Setup from the AMIBIOS Setup main menu. All PCI/PnP Setup options
are described in this section. The PCI/PnP Setup screen is shown below:

Plug and Play O/S

This value allows the BIOS to configure the devices in the system. This is the default value.
Yes
This value allows the operating system to configure all Plug and Play devices not required
during boot. Use this setting if your operating system supports plug and play devices.
PCI Latency Timer
This option allows the PCI Latency Timer to be adjusted. Basically, it allows you to set a
delay to allow the BIOS to find all PCI devices. This option sets the latency of all PCI
devices on the PCI bus. The settings are in units equal to PCI clocks. The Optimal and
Fail-Safe default settings is 64.
