Paper Feed Cover
Make sure that the misfeed indicator goes off after removing the misfed paper.

The misfeed indicator will not go off if an original is still jammed in the ADF.
Check again and remove the misfed original.

Paper Misfeed Indicator
The indicator will light when paper misfeeds.
Paper Feed area:
Open paper feed cover of ADF.
Remove misfed paper and close
paper feed cover.
Paper Exit Area:
Open paper feed cover of ADF.
Remove misfed paper and close
paper feed cover.
