OIL RECOMMENDATIONS
Using the proper type and weight of oil in the engine
crankcase a nd in the gear reduction unit is extreme­
ly im portant, as is checking oil daily and changing oil
regularly. Failu re to use the correct
dirty oil causes premature engine wear and fail u r e .
Oil Type
Use high-quality detergent oil of API (American Pe­
troleum In stitute) Service Class SF or SG .
the viscosity based on the air temperature at the
time of operation as shown in the tab l e .

Straight 3D-weight oil is preferred.
