BASIC OPERATION
ENGINE START-UP — by kick start lever
1. Turn ignition switch to "ON".
2. Turn the emergency stop switch to the "RUN" position.
3. Put scooter on center stand.
4. Extend the kickstarter lever arm (on the 150cc model) and kick downward with adequate
force.
Notes: Do not open (twist) throttle while starting.
Caution:
After the engine is started, make sure the kick start lever regains its original up position to

avoid damage.
