10 Overview
Centrex IP Client Manager supports different contrast settings for each
display. This means that you can adjust the contrast level for the display
screen on the IP Phone, and each KEM independently.

Graphical Expansion Module (GEM)

IP Phone Graphical Expansion Module description

Nortel IP Phone Graphical Expansion Module (GEM) is an 18 key
graphical expansion module with a central liquid crystal display (LCD)
screen that provides both icons and labels similar to those provided on the
i24KEM unit. The GEM is compatible with Nortel IP Phone 1100 Series
terminals on the CICM platform.
The GEM provides 18 soft-labeled keys and an LCD screen that displays
pages, each page displays 18 feature keys, with access to the 22 feature
keys on a CS2000/CS2100 M5216 line extension module M522. The
M522 extension module has a total of 22 feature keys, these 22 keys
are spread over two pages on the GEM. A single IP Phone terminal can
support two GEMs, providing up to 44 additional keys.
The implementation of the Graphical Expansion Module (GEM) for IP
Phone 1100 Series terminals include the 1120E, 1140E, and 1150E
terminals.
