Trouble Shooting Guide
The troubleshooting guide below describes a number of events that can arise
when you use your wheelchair, as well as providing suggestions for solutions.
Note that this guide does not describe all the possible events that can arise, and
you should always get in touch with your service contact or Permobil when you
are unsure
EVENT
The wheelchair does not start. Batteries discharged.
The wheelchair can not
be driven.
Battery voltage indicator
on the control panel rapidly
blinking and the wheelchair
can not be driven.
The wheelchair stops while
being driven.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
The cable connection to the
control panel has become
loose.
Main fuse set in "OFF"
position after, for example,

changing batteries.

Main fuse triggered.
Battery charger connected.
Brake release activated.
Wheelchair locked with the
security key.
Fault indicated in the
drive electronics.
The cable connection to the
control panel has become
loose.

SOLUTION
Charge the batteries.
Atttach the cable to the control
panel.
Reset the main fuse.

Reset the brake release.
