TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
PROBLEM
Equipment doesn't operate No power: Power plug not plugged in. Plug in power plug
Excessive toast time
Replacing Heating Elements
1. Unplug unit, remove right side and rear covers.
2. Remove 4 nuts holding element mounting bracket and
remove bracket and elements.
3. Disconect wiring of element to be replaced at terminal
block.
4. Pull element and wires through bracket.
5. Insert new element into bracket using a new insulator.
6. Install bracket, elements and insulator into toaster, tight-
en mounting bolts.
7. Connect element leads to terminal block, replace cov-
ers.
Replacing Drive Motor
1. Unplug unit, remove right side and rear covers.
2. Unplug motor leads and pull wiring through side case.
3. Remove two bolts holding shaft support bracket and
remove bracket.
4. Loosen set screw on motor sprocket, remove 2 remain-
ing motor mounting bolts and remove motor.
5. Installation is the reverse of removal. Leave the motor
mounting bolts loose.
6. Adjust motor so there is 3/8" play in the chain at its
widest span. tighten bolts and replace covers.

PROBABLE CAUSE
Wrong power source
Breaker switch tripped
Broken on/off switch
Heating element failure
Blower failure
Check power source for proper
voltage. Check if power is provided
by power outlet.
Reset breaker switch inside toaster
control area. If breaker continues
to trip, call service.
Call service
Check heating elements. If one or
more heating elements stay dark,
call service.
Call for service.
