    Start a TWAIN compliant software application such as Roxio PhotoSuite 4 SE which is bundled in the CD. Click Get>Scanner (TWAIN). Choose AVA6 as your scanning source. (You only need to do this once.) Place the document FACE DOWN on the document glass.
