SIM card lock
Prevent another user from using your SIM card to make
unauthorized calls or from accessing information stored on your
SIM card by protecting the information using a PIN code.
When enabled, your tablet will ask for a PIN number each time you
use the tablet. Using this option you can also change your SIM
PIN number.
From the Home screen, tap

Tap Set up SIM card lock.

Tap Lock SIM card, enter your SIM PIN code, then tap OK.

To change your SIM PIM code:
Note: You must activate Lock SIM card before you can change your SIM PIN
code.
Tap Change SIM PIN.

Enter your old SIM PIN code and tap OK.
2.
Enter your new SIM PIN code and tap OK.
3.
Re-type your new SIM PIN code and tap OK.

You can configure the tablet to display your password as you type
it instead of displaying an asterisk (*).
From the Home screen, tap

Tap Visible passwords to activate this feature.

Select device administrators
Lets you enable or disable device administrator status for
programs that use this function.

Credential storage

This option allows applications such as VPN or Wi-Fi networks to
access secure certificates and other credentials. Password
protected certificates and credentials can be stored on the SD
card and installed to your phone to allow network access.
To install and activate a secure certificate:
Copy the certificate to the root of the microSD card (not in a

folder).
From the Home screen, tap

Tap Install encrypted certificates from SD card to install the

certificate from the microSD card.
