All files and folders in the tablet's Root storage location are

displayed. Among the folders are:
• DCIM: this is the default location for pictures and videos taken by
the device. Tap DCIM
video files. For more information, refer to "Accessing Pictures"
on page 48 and see "Accessing Videos" on page 49
• Android: the Android folder stores files that are used in Android
applications.
• external_sd: this folder displays all of the files that you have on
your memory card.
• Bluetooth: this folder stores files sent via a Bluetooth device.
To add a new folder, press

Enter a name for the new folder and tap Done.

Navigation

Navigation is a GPS navigation system with voice guidance. GPS
must be enabled to use this application. You can type or speak
your destination.
Launching Navigation
From the Home screen, tap

The Choose Destination screen displays.
Select one of the following options:

• Speak Destination: allows you to speak your destination.

• Type Destination: allows you to use the keypad to enter your
destination.
• Contacts: lets you choose a destination from a list of all of your
contacts that have addresses listed.
• Starred Places: allows you to select a destination from a list of
favorite locations.
• Recent Destinations: provides a list of previous destinations.
Navigation Options
After the map displays, press
• Search: allows you to speak or type a destination, place, or
service to search for.
• Route Info: provides an onscreen view of your start and
destination points along with distance and approximate driving
time in minutes.
• Layers: are additional items that you can have displayed on your
map. They include:
– Traffic view: displays real-time traffic conditions so you can plan the
fastest route.
– Satellite: allows you to see you map as a satellite image.
– Parking: shows nearby parking facilities.

– Gas Stations: shows nearby gas stations.
– ATMs & Banks: shows nearby ATMs and banks.
– Restaurants: shows nearby restaurants.
• Mute/Unmute: allows you to mute or unmute the navigation voice.
