The Google Search Bar provides an on-screen Internet search
engine powered by Google™. For more information, refer to
"Google Search Bar" on page 16

Instant Messaging or IM is a way of sending short, simple
messages that are delivered immediately to other users. To use
this feature, you must be subscribed to a message service.
Your tablet allows selection of three IM services: Google Talk,
Windows Live Messenger and Yahoo! Messenger. To add an IM
account to your tablet:
From the Home screen, tap

Tap Add account.

Tap an account name.
3.
Follow the on-screen instructions to enter your account

Latitude

With Google Latitude, you can see the location of all of your
friends on a map or on a list. You can also share or hide your
location.
You must first enable a My Location source to allow the tablet to
pinpoint your location.
From the Home screen, tap

Tap Use wireless networks to allow the tablet to determine

your location using wireless networks. A green checkmark
indicates the feature is enabled.
You can also enable Use GPS satellites for a more precise
street-level location (uses more battery power and requires
a clear view of the sky).
Note: To receive better GPS signals, avoid using your device in the following
conditions:
• inside a building or between buildings
• in a tunnel or underground passage
• in poor weather
• around high-voltage or electromagnetic fields
• in a vehicle with tinted windows
