  • Page 10 Housing Your Hunter fan comes with an integrated light fixture assembly and an optional switch housing cap and plug button. This feature gives you the option of installing the fan with or without the in- cluded light fixture.
  • Page 11: Operating Your Ceiling Fan

    Turn on electrical power to the fan. Ceiling fans work best by blowing air downward (counterclock- wise blade rotation) in warm weather to cool the room with a direct breeze. In winter, having the fan draw air upward (clock- wise blade rotation) will distribute the warmer air trapped at the ceiling around the room without causing a draft.
