Auto Idle Stop Function
To improve fuel economy, the engine stops and then restarts as detailed below. When Auto Idle Stop is
on, the AUTO STOP indicator blinks.
At Automatic transmission (CVT)
Depress the brake pedal.
The vehicle speed goes below
6 mph (10 km/h).
Continue to depress the brake
pedal.
Release the brake pedal.

1. Depress the brake pedal.
The vehicle speed goes
below 19 mph (30 km/h).
2. Fully depress the clutch
pedal.
• Continue to
depress the brake
pedal.
• Move the shift
