Installing Cards
To install a Xircom Ethernet 10/100 + modem PC Card
Requirements
OmniBook 3000 with Windows for Workgroups 3.11 installed.
Xircom Ethernet 10/100+Modem PC Card.
Xircom Drivers Disk 2.
Configuration
Interrupt: 3.
I/O Port address: 300.
1. Start Windows for Workgroups.
2. Insert the PC Card.
3. From Program Manager, double-click Network group, then Network Setup.
4. Click Network.
5. Select Install Microsoft Windows Network, then click OK.
6. Click Drivers, then Add Adapter.
7. Double-click Unlisted Or Updated Network Adapter.
8. When prompted, insert the Xircom driver disk into drive A, then click OK.
9. Select Xircom XCEM NDIS 2.01 Real Mode, then click OK.
10. Click Close.
11. Click OK.
12. Enter your network information and click OK.
13. Windows may ask for the Windows for Workgroups disk 7 and disk 8. Insert the
disk when requested and click OK.
14. Reinsert the Xircom Drivers disk when prompted.
15. Click OK to accept the changes to AUTOEXEC.BAT, SYSTEM.INI, and
PROTOCOL.INI
16. Click Continue (Do not Restart the Computer).
