This specification describes the Seagate Technology, Inc. Hawk 4 Family Disc Drive. This high capacity, high performance member of the Seagate 3.5 inch rigid disc family is a companion product to the ST12400 drive family. It has an embedded SCSI controller. Performance information is given in Section 5. The Hawk 4 Family interface is defined for functional compatibility to a subset of the Seagate SCSI Interface Specification 77738479, and the ANSI SCSI-2 and SCSI-3 standards. -

Daisy-chain applications require that only the units at each end of the daisy-chain be terminated.
