troller into deep sleep mode immediately rather than waiting for the deep sleep
timer setting to be reached. The Controller cannot be turned off while it is
seated in the charging cradle.
• Factory Reset Controller. Use this setting to return the Controller to its original
factory settings. This will disconnect the Controller from your Sonos Multi-
Room Music System entirely (you can add it again at any time.) This may be
necessary if the Controller gets associated to the wrong Sonos system during
setup, or if you wish to join your Controller to a different Sonos Multi-Room
Music System (for example, if you are setting up a previously used Sonos sys-
tem.)
• Restart Controller. There may be an occasion when you need to renew your
DHCP lease (get a new IP address from your Internet provider's DHCP server.)
If this occurs, you can use this setting to restart your Controller.

Additional Settings

Upon occasion, it may become necessary to adjust some of the default settings for
your Sonos Multi-Room Music System.
