PROBLEM
Pilot Lights But Main Burners
Will Not Fire
Insufficient Heating
Unit Consistently Shuts Down
On High Limit

(High CO, Yellow Flames)

LCD INSTALLATION AND OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS

TROUBLESHOOTING

POSSIBLE CAUSES
Bad flame sense lead from igniter
to flame sense module
Defective flame sense module
Manual valve(s) in air plenum
closed
Main valve(s) not wired
Low manifold pressure
Main valve(s) malfunctioning
Operating control set too low
High limit set too low
Insufficient air
Dirty inlet air filter
Too much air
Low air (blocked flue/inlet)
condition
REMEDIES
Check sense lead & ground
connections, adjust as necessary
Replace flame sense module
Remove upper front jacket panel,
open manual valve(s)
Wire main valve(s)
Check manifold pressure during
ignition trial, adjust as necessary
Replace main valve(s)
Increase control temperature
setting
Increase high limit setting
• Check CO & CO
, adjust blower

inlet damper(s) to increase airflow
• Check for plenum air leakage
from lower front jacket panel
seams, repair as necessary
Remove, inspect and clean inlet air
filter as necessary
Check CO & CO
, adjust blower
2
inlet damper(s) to decrease airflow
• If condition exists,check inlet,
flue, chimney for blockage
• Check combustion air/ventilation
openings in space
• Check inlet air filter, clean/replace
as necessary
• Check pressure switch for correct
setting
