Power not connected

Primary limit or other

Low water cutoff open
Pump contact not wired
Pump malfunctioning
Defective pump timer TD4
Power venter not wired to
external power
Power venter fault
Power venter interlock not wired
Blower(s) not plugged in
Defective blower timer TD3
Blower(s) malfunctioning
Incorrect spark gap or shorted
igniter lead
Bad ground on flame sense
module
Defective flame sense module
Low air (blocked flue/inlet)

Spark generator fault
Defective air purge timer TD1
Low gas pressure
Pilot valve manual knob closed
Pilot valve not wired
Low pilot pressure

REMEDIES
Wire unit to line voltage
Reset breaker
Reset breaker
• Reset limit or control or resolve
problem as applicable
• If not resolved, check wiring and
condition of limit
• Check circulating pump
• Check pump contact in control box
• Check LWCO wiring and condition
Wire pump contact in control box
Replace pump
Replace pump timer TD4
Wire power venter as shown in
connection diagram
Replace power venter
Wire power venter interlock as
shown in connection diagram
Plug in blower(s)
Replace Blower Timer TD3
Replace blower(s)
Properly adjust igniter gap or
correct short
Check ground connections,
adjust as necessary
Replace flame sense module
• If condition exists, check inlet,
flue & chimney for blockage
• Check combustion air/ventilation
openings in space
• Check inlet air filter, clean/replace
as necessary
check spark generator wiring
Replace Timer TD1
Check gas supply pressure during
ignition trial, adjust as necessary
Open pilot valve manual knob
Connect pilot valve wires
Check pilot pressure, adjust as
necessay
Replace pilot valve
