System identification button The identification buttons on the front and back panels can be used to locate a particular system within a rack. When one of these buttons is pushed, the LCD panel on the front and the system status indicator on the back flashes blue until one of the buttons is pushed again.

    LCD Panel Features The system's LCD panel provides system information and status and error messages to indicate when the system is operating correctly or when the system needs attention. See LCD Error Messages for information about specific error codes. • The LCD backlight lights blue during normal operating conditions and lights amber to indicate an error condition.

    NOTE: Operating systems must be UEFI-compatible to be installed from the UEFI boot mode. DOS and 32-bit operating systems do not support UEFI and can only be installed from the BIOS boot mode.     SATA Settings Screen Menu Item Description Embedded SATA Allows the embedded SATA to be set to Off, ATA, AHCI, or RAID modes. By default, the Embedded SATA option is set to AHCI. Port E Auto enables BIOS support for the device attached to SATA port E. Off disables BIOS support for the device.

    Menu Item Description Internal SD Card Port Enables or disables the system’s internal SD card port. By default, Internal SD Card Port option is set to On. NOTE: This option is displayed only if IDSDM is installed on the system board. Internal SD Card If set to Mirror mode, data is written on both SD cards.
