ERROR MESSAGES

The apparatus registers any problems and shows the following error messages
on the display:
Error message Meaning
ER-1 Error during
pumping
ER-2 Disturbances or
noise during readings during the reading.
reading taken by a doctor.
ER-3 Error while emptying
the armband
ER-4 Abnormal reading
HI The pressure in the
armband is too high.
Battery symbol Flat batteries

Cause
1. The armband is not correctly attached.
2. The armband is broken.
3. The pump or valves are defective.
1. The user moves or speaks
2. The user is too nervous.
1. The valves are defective.
2. The armband is not correctly attached.
The user may have a heart problem.
The air tube is blocked, the pump
mechanism is defective or the pressure
monitor is defective.
The batteries are almost dead.

1. Attach the armband correctly.
