Adjusting the Directional Sound Lens
Most KICKER Impulse coaxials and the 3-way I6903 have a feature which allows tuning
the high frequency response to your taste. The front of the tweeter incorporates KICKER's
Directional Sound Lens™ which can be rotated to shape the tweeter's output. After
mounting and wiring your new speakers, and before securing the grills, you will want to lis-
ten to them with the DSL in different positions to determine which angle works best for
you. We suggest you start with the KICKER logo pointed toward the listener's head, then
rotate until it sounds best to you. Have fun and experiment ... with a little work you'll get
greatly superior imaging can is possible with conventional coaxial speakers.
