MAC Address

This allows the switch's dynamic MAC address forwarding table to be viewed. When the
switch learns an association between a MAC address and a port number, it makes an entry
into its forwarding table. These entries are then used to forward packets through the switch.
To view the MAC Address forwarding table, from the Monitoring menu, click the MAC
Address link:
Description
This displays Powered if the corresponding Redundant Power Supply
(RPS) is powering the switch.
This displays Normal if the power supply is operating properly. If one of the
RPSs is not functioning normally, a beep will sound from the switch, and Not
Normal will be displayed.
This displays the status of the first of the two fans that cool the Redundant
Power Supply (RPS).
This displays the status of the second of the two fans that cool the
Redundant Power Supply (RPS).
This displays the operating status of the four internal fans that cool modules
installed in the DES-6500.
