In absence of local codes, install to the current CAN1-B149.2 Propane Installation Code in Canada or to the National Fuel Gas Code, ANSI Z223.1 in the United States. -

This is a normal temporary condition caused by the "burn-in" of internal paints and lubricants used in the manufacturing process and will not occur again. 10. SEASONAL MAINTENANCE TURN OFF THE GAS at the source and disconnect BEFORE SERVICING. 1. This barbecue should be inspected at least annually. After a lengthy storage, the barbecue should be checked for gas leaks by brushing on a soap and water solution. (See #4 for leak testing instructions.)
