Problem
Audible noise or static
is heard during a call.
"No Network" is
displayed in vehicle
interface.
BTUM LED flashing
very rapidly and/or
erratic phone system
behavior.
Corrective Action
•
Placement of phone can affect
both cellular and Bluetooth
reception. Please relocate
handset within vehicle.
•
Microphone in vehicle is sensitive
to outside noises such as wind.
Raising vehicle windows and/or
closing moon roof can improve
sound quality.
•
The handset may not have
service. Please try again in
an area with better signal.
•
Potential error with your BTUM
or vehicle phone system.
•
Please hold down Push button
on BTUM for greater than 30
seconds (LED will begin flashing
very rapidly). BTUM will reset and
normal operation should resume.
Please shut vehicle OFF,
•
remove BTUM for approximately
1 minute and re-insert BTUM
into eject box.
•
If problem persists, please
contact your BMW center.
