Troubleshooting
Problem
Vehicle phone system
appears to be
connected but will not
make outgoing calls.
Calls can be placed
from vehicle but no
audio is heard.
Corrective Action
• Place a call to the handset. If
the call does not successfully
ring on the handset, the handset
may not have service. Please try
again in an area with better signal
coverage.
• Place a call to the handset. If
the call successfully rings at the
handset, phone may be paired
but not connected to the vehicle.
Verify that Bluetooth is active on
your phone and that the phone
is within range of the vehicle
(approximately 30 feet). If both
of these are true, repeat pairing
process between the BTUM and
the phone handset.
• Bluetooth audio transfer can take
up to 15 seconds after vehicle
has been turned ON. Please wait
until audio transfer takes place.
