3LOCALTELEPHONEDIRECTORY

TO REGISTER A DIRECTORY DATA

This function allows a user to register the person's name and the person's telephone
number into the local telephone directory database and also make a call to the person
by a simple operation using the local telephone directory.
You can operate the local telephone directory by on-hook. There is a function that cannot
operate the local telephone directory by off-hook. Please see the following in detail.
・ON-HOOK : Enable to operate of Register, Search, Making a call, Correct, and Delete.
・OFF-HOOK : Enable to operate of Register, Search, Correct, and Delete.
1 Press the DIR button.
You can enter in the local telephone directory.
2 Press the CHR button.
You can select the character mode (Japanese syllabary
characters, alphabetical characters, numeric characters).
・Japanese syllabary character mode:
" ｶﾅ ﾅﾏｴ ?" is displayed on the LCD display, and you can
input the Japanese syllabary.
・Alphabetical character mode:
"AL ﾅﾏｴ ?" is displayed by pressing the CHR button, and
you can input the alphabet.
・Numeric character mode:
"No. ﾅﾏｴ ?" is displayed by pressing the CHR button once
more, and you can input the number digit.
3 Input a name.
Select the mode, and input with the dial button.
You can input 10 characters.
If you don't need to input a name, you go to 4 without
operating 3.
4 Press the REG button.
5 Input a telephone number.
You can input 30 digits including line access code.
6 Press the REG button.
You could register one directory data.
If you want to register next data continuously, repeat
above operation from 3 to 6.
Press DIR button twice to finish registering the local
telephone directory.
