Installing a Modular LOM
The modular LOM is a specialized I/O adapter providing 2 x 10 Gigabit of Ethernet/FCoE connectivity
to each chassis IOM. The following option is available:

You must remove the adapter card to service the modular LOM.
Note
To install a modular LOM card on the blade server, follow these steps:
Position the modular LOM's board connector above the motherboard connector and align the captive

screw to the standoff post on the motherboard.
Firmly press the modular LOM's board connector into the motherboard connector.
Step 2
Tighten the captive screw.
Step 3
Removing a modular LOM is the reverse of installing it. You may find it helpful when removing the

connector from the motherboard to gently rock the board along the length of the connector until it
loosens.

Modular LOM Options
