Connecting VoiceLive 2 To A Computer

USB Audio and ASIO Applications

PC-based DAW applications such as Cubase use a
different type of driver to access USB hardware called
"ASIO". If you will be using one of these apps, you will
need to install a WDM to ASIO "wrapper" such as
ASIO4ALL which is available at www.asio4all.com in
order for VoiceLive 2 to be recognized as an audio
device.

Selecting The Audio Device

In the Mac and Vista operating systems, you can select
VoiceLive 2's audio device in your workstation program
by name. In Windows XP, however, the name of the
audio device is "USB Audio Device".

USB and MIDI Control

When you need MIDI control via VoiceLive 2's MIDI IN
with simultaneous USB audio streaming, enter the I/O
tab in the SETUP menu and set USB CONTROL to Off.
Note that this will disable VoiceSupport backup features.
