LCD panel /Prism assembly and LCD
panel removal.
Note :
LCD panel/Prism assembly is a precision part. Observe cautions of right
and be sure to handle this part with special attention.

Never touch
the electrode of flexible cables.

1. Remove 4 screws A and remove the LCD panel /Prism assembly.
2. Remove 3 screws B and remove the LCD panel.
Caution:
Don't remove three panels simultaneously.
Convergence adjusting becomes impossible when three panels are
removed simultaneously. When three panels simultaneous replace-
ment is required, replace "LCD panel /prism assembly."
Caution :
(1) Do not hit the LCD panel part by screwdriver when
removing screws. Adjustment may be out of place by
shock.
(2) Never touch the LCD panel and prism part directly with
hand. Otherwise the optical parts may get dirty.
(3) Since the LCD panel is equipped with CMOS-LSI, pay
attention to static electricity. And never touch the elec-
trode of flexible cables.
