3. Remove the battery and store in a cool, dry place. Recharge it once a
month.
4. Remove the cutter deck:
4-l. Lower the cutter deck and be sure the P.T.O. lever is in the OFF position.
Turn the front wheels all the way to the left, and then remove the belt
stopper.
BELT STOPPER
4-2. Remove the primary belt from the pulley on the underside of the
transmission.
DECK BELT
CAUTION:
When the cutter deck is removed, the return spring will cause the
deck height adjusting lever to snap unward when the release button is press-
ed. Hold the lever firmly, and carefully return it to the UPPER position after
removing the deck.
