ANGLE RELEASE CABLE INSTALLATION
6. Secure cable to the throttle and choke cables
with the cable tie.
7. Once the cable has been positioned, install it
onto the bracket and tighten the bottom jam nut
on the T-handle.
8. Put the sweeper in the straight ahead position
(refer to page 8).
9. Assemble the spring, spring seat washer, jam
nut and clevis onto the sweeper end of the cable
as shown. Hand tighten the jam nut and clevis
onto the cable as far as they will go.
10. Make sure the T-handle and swing lever are all
the way down. With the clevis positioned over
the hole in the swing pin lever, rotate the clevis
in 1/4 turn increments until the clevis pin can be
installed. Move the cable jam nuts up or down as
needed until the cable can be installed onto the
bracket. Tighten the jam nuts together.
11. Secure the clevis pin with the cotter pin. Tighten
the jam nut against the clevis.
