Chapter 1 Introduction

This motherboard has AMD Geode NX processor onboard with front-side bus
speed 266 MHz.
This motherboard has the SiS741GX Northbridge and SiS964L Southbridge that
supports the AC' 97 audio codec, the Ultra DMA 133/100/66 function, and the
built-in USB 2.0 providing higher bandwidth. It implements Universal Serial Bus
Specification Revision 2.0 and is compliant with UHCI 1.1 and EHCI 0.95.
It has two 32-bit PCI slots, one 8X AGP slot, one CNR (Communications and
Networking Riser) slot, and supports the onboard 10BaseT/100BaseTX
Network interface (optional). In addition, this motherboard has a full set of I/O
ports including two PS/2 ports for mouse and keyboard, one serial port, one
VGA port, one parallel port, one LAN port (optional), three audio jacks for line-
in, line-out and microphone, and four back-panel USB2.0 ports. Two onboard
USB headers provide additional USB2.0 ports by connecting the Extended USB
Module to the motherboard.
This motherboard is a Micro ATX size motherboard and has power connectors
for an ATX power supply.
