5. Pull out the optical drive.
To install a repaired optical drive or a new one, do the following:
1. Insert the optical drive into the optical drive bay, and then press it firmly into the connector.
2. Reinstall the screw and tighten it.
3. Reinstall the battery. See "Replacing the battery" on page 65.
