Remote Access

You may access the answering system from any tone-dial compatible telephone
by entering your 4-digit remote access code during the playing of outgoing
announcement.
1. Dial the telephone number at which the answering system is connected.
. Enter the 4-digit Remote Access Code during the outgoing announcement.
3. Follow the voice menu to use the answering system's remote functions. If there is
no command entered after 0 seconds, the unit will release the line.
4. You can now perform the following functions:
• Press 1 to play messages
• Press 4 to repeat current message or previous message
• Press 5 to stop
• Press 6 to play next message
• Press 7 to delete current message
• Press 8 to record memo
• Press 9 to record and then review announcement
• Press 0 to turn answering system on or off
• Press * for instructions

Set Audible Message Alert ON/OFF

When Message Alert is ON, the base unit will beep once every 10 seconds when new
messages have been received.
1. Press the ans. menu button repeatedly until the system announces "Message
Alert is ON (or OFF)". The message indicator displays AL.
