Using this unit
! Not all songs will be available for TAG.
Storing the tagged information
to your iPod
DEH-X9600BHS
1 Switch the source to iPod.
The tag transfer screen is displayed.
2 Turn M.C. to switch to YES.
3 Press M.C. to select.
Tagged information is transferred to your iPod.
Notes
! You can also transfer tagged information
using Tags transfer. For details, refer to
Tags transfer (Tags transfer) on page 11.
! Tags transfer will stop if the source is
changed from iPod1 to iPod2, or from iPod2
to iPod1 while tagged information is being
transferred.
DEH-X8600BH/DEH-X7600HD/DEH-
X8600BS/DEH-X7600S
% The tag information on this unit is trans-
ferred to the iPod automatically when an
iPod is connected.
Tag menu
1 Press and hold /DISP.
# Radio and iPod: The display will move to
Station. For details, refer to Station (new station) on
page 21.
# SiriusXM and HD Radio: The tag menu will ap-
pear on the display. Proceed to the next step to con-
tinue.
2 Turn M.C. to select the tag function.
Once selected, the following set up menu func-
tions can be adjusted.
Station (new station)
You can create a new Pandora station based on
the tagged information.
1 Press M.C. to display the setting mode.
2 Turn M.C. to select the desired setting.
Track (from track)—Artist (from artist)
3 Press M.C. to select.
Switches to the Pandora source and displays
the list of Pandora stations.
4 Turn M.C. to select the desired station.
5 Press M.C. to select.
A new station is created.
Tagging (storing tagged information)
You can store tagged information to this unit.
1 Press M.C. to store the tagged information to
this unit.
For transferring the tagged information stored
on this unit to your iPod, refer to Storing the
tagged information to your iPod on page 21.
Notes
! This function is disabled when there is no
tagged information available.
! This menu is enabled when the Pandora
source is available.

SiriusXM Satellite Radio

Only for DEH-X9600BHS, DEH-X8600BS and DEH-
X7600S
You can use this unit to control SiriusXM Con-
nect Vehicle Tuner, which is sold separately.
For more information on how to install SiriusXM
Connect Vehicle Tuner, consult the installation
guide included with the tuner.
Everything worth listening to is on SiriusXM.
You'll find channels and channels of program-
ming, including commercial-free music, plus
the best sports, news, talk and exclusive enter-
tainment. A SiriusXM Vehicle Tuner and Sub-
scription are required. For more information,
visit www.siriusxm.com in the US or www.sir-
iusxm.ca in Canada.
To subscribe to the SiriusXM
Satellite Radio service
1 Switch the source to SiriusXM.
You should be able to tune in to Channel 1. If
you cannot get Channel 1, make sure that your
SiriusXM Connect Vehicle Tuner is installed cor-
rectly as described in the tuner installation
guide.
2 Switch to Channel 0 and check the Radio
ID.
The SiriusXM Radio ID can be found by tuning
to Channel 0. In addition, the Radio ID is located
on the bottom of the SiriusXM Connect Vehicle
Tuner.
Please note that the SiriusXM Radio ID does not
include the letters I, O, S or F.
You will need this number to activate your sub-
scription.
3 Activate the SiriusXM service online or
by phone.

! Call SiriusXM Listener Care at 1-866-635-2349
For Canadian Subscriptions:
! Visit www.xmradio.ca and click on "ACTIVATE
RADIO" in the top right corner
! Call 1-877-438-9677
# The SiriusXM satellites will send an activation
message to your tuner. When the tuner has received
the message, "Subscription Updated" is displayed.
Press any key to clear the activation message.
The activation process usually takes 10 minutes to
15 minutes but may take up to an hour in some
cases. Do not turn off the unit until you clear the ac-
tivation message by pressing any key.
